Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of meeting CAPT Wright's wife today hear her stories about him. The pride she exhibits when she speaks of CAPT Wright really shines through. I never met or served with CAPT Wright but I did served in the US Navy for 23.5 years. My condolences to Mrs. Wright for the loss of her husband and thank him and her for his faithful service to United States of America.

Thanks Anne for sharing skips story with me today and may he rest and peace i admire the love and passion you share while talking about him

I spoke to Anne today over the phone and I want to thank her for sharing Captain Wright's story

I was with Skip, along with Lt. Gary Tobey, when he had to eject into the Tonkin Gulf in 1968. We were on our way back to Enterprise when Skip (the leader) rather nonchalantly came over the air with, "hey guys, this thing has quit running." I felt like, "say what??", but then I felt like that a lot, meaning what the heck did I know. Skip said he would try to get it relit. He got a partial relight but not enough power to recover aboard. So, descending thru 10k he said, "well I guess I...

We just learned of CAPT Wright's passing. We appreciated Skip's participation in our study. God bless Skip and his family.

Rachael, I came here from TikTok because I saw your tribute to your dad. I was so moved by it. Thank you for sharing your fathers life. I loved reading his memorial and loved when people, even strangers, read my parents obituary because it felt like they weren´t being forgotten. I find peace in knowing I have to angels who I feel that are close to me and my children and helping me navigate life without them here. Best wishes to your family.

As a fellow docent, I had the pleasure of working with Skip at Anderson House/Society of the Cincinnati for several years. Skip was a font of knowledge, an enthusiastic guide, and he made every tour memorable. I had no idea of his illustrious career, other than that he'd been a Navy man. I greatly enjoyed reading the details of his life and contributions to our nation. All good wishes to Skip's deservedly proud family. Blessings to you all.

As Federal Coordinator for Meteorology, Skip worked tirelessly to keep the DOD up to speed with the rest of the Federal Weather Enterprise. On behalf of Brig Gen (Ret) Fred Lewis, the Air Force Director of Weather at that time, and the rest of Skip's Air Force Weather brethren, our deepest sympathies. He was the epitome of an officer and a gentlemen.
