Julie was a wonderful hostess for many newsroom parties, welcoming everyone with a smile. Her homes were lovely with her antiques and collections, all with a story. She showed an interest in most everything. My sincere condolences to her family.

I enjoyed working for Julie. She was generous, kind, caring and always had a cup of coffee with us in the morning. The last time I talked with her, we had stopped by her house, on our way back from the beach. She was interested in what we were doing, how our family was doing, and what we had planned for the future. She was very happy to see us and we enjoyed our time with her. Steve Welters
