She used to babysit my sisters and I when we were little. She was also our mom's best friend back then. We have pictures of her with us at Christmas and such. We are so sorry for her loss! We may have lost contact with her growing up but she has always been like family to us. We love you Julie!!

What to say to about someone who´s a touchstone of decades of your life? One of my earliest memories of my niece, Julie, was when she was about 3 years old and visiting AL. I brought her to my first apartment to spend a little time with me, and while we were sitting on the couch, she looked at me in a very serious way and asked me why I was so sad. Even at that young age, she was very perceptive. She had a great gift of empathy. After that day, I would not see her for many, many years. I never stopped thinking about her and loving her.
