Not sure what to say?

My mother, Edith Goodspeed, met Julie at
Viscount Alexander School, and counted her a good friend ever since. Mother often remarked what a gentle soul Julie was. Our heartfelt condolences to the August family.

Heartfelt condolences are extended to your family at this difficult time. Seek the love and support God provides to help you cope during this time - Psalms 29:11

Dear Beth and family,

Having worked with Julie at the May Court Bargain Box on Saturdays for many years, I thoroughly enjoyed her intelligent, thoughtful conversation and her warm friendship!

She shared wonderful stories of her past as a teacher, her passion for the arts, and her love of cats!

May your precious memories carry you through these sad days.

With my deepest sympathies

It's sad to hear of Mrs. August's passing. Tim and I were best friends as children and I spent a lot of time feeling welcomed by the hospitality of Mrs August and the family at their house and cottage.

My thoughts are with the whole family.

Sincerely,

Keith Goddard.

I am so sorry to read of Julie's passing. She was a lovely lady with a wonderful spirit. I was a volunteer through Ottawa Therapy Dogs and Julie and my dog were good buddies - I always enjoyed watching them together. Wishing you peace and good memories of Julie.

I met Julie at Manor Park E.S. in the 70's as I taught her sons. She was our favourite supply teacher, always smiling, always professional. I truly enjoyed her sense of humour. My condolences go to her children. Rest in peace, dear Julie.

On behalf of the President and members of The May Court Club of Ottawa may I express our deepest sympathy and condolences. Julie was a valued, member of our club, having served on our Board of Directors a few years ago. Her mother was also a past-president of the club.

We hope that knowing her friends in May Court are thinking of you at this time will be of some comfort to you.

Sincerely,

Jose Hamilton
Corresponding Secretary

It was a pleasure working with Julie and her family. I will always remember her beautiful smile. She will always be in my heart and will be missed.

Julie taught my son in elementary school. She was a warm and compassionate teacher dedicated to her students and her profession. A very classy lady.
