Julie Brick

Julie Brick was my English teacher at Wolcott High School; I graduated in 1979. Today, May 4, 2021, Teacher Appreciation Day, I was asked about my favorite teacher and I responded, “Julie Brick,” without hesitation. I decided to Google her and learned she passed away in 2018. She was a light. I went onto to become an English teacher and then a school principal because of her. My heartfelt
condolences to her family, but know her legacy lives on.

Julie was a friend of my late father Marvin Rayfield when they were young acting students. I only talked to her on the phone. I was hoping to meet her someday. Sadly, that will not happen now. I thought that she was a very sweet woman when I talked to her on the phone. My condolences go out to her family. They are in my prayers at this difficult time.
