Not sure what to say?

Julie "Milton" so hard to believe you left us to become an angel 17 years ago. Miss you and will see you again someday

You are so missed. Julie "Milton" as my family knew you. We met at UMass Boston in 1992 and became friends as we laughed our way through our Master's in Ed. So many memories of laughing as we drove to Christmas Tree Shops and lunch. Most "Aunts" take their "nephew" to the zoo or a park on nice spring days. Nope Auntie Julie insisted she took baby Jack for his first trip to the Christmas Tree Shop. Auntie Julie proudly held him in front of the store making sure I got the sign and Jack...

Julie "Milton" as my family knew you there isn't a day that goes by that I don't forget one of our moments together at UMass Boston trying oh so hard to not just laugh our way through yet another master's course together. Did you see Christmas Tree Shops had to change their name? They miss you Julie. I can only imagine the shoe shopping and the bargains you are finding up in heaven. Miss you girlfriend. Till we see each other again. Miss you. St. Patty's Day just hasn't been the same...

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of a wonderful memory of Julie Milton (as my family knew her). We met in Grad School at UMass Boston. Julie was passionate about teaching, her students, her family and having a good time. She introduced me to Castle Island, Farragut House, and Sullivan's. I was a Northshore girl that ventured south of the North End Haymarket, the Orange Line to attend Grad School at UMass Boston. Julie opened my eyes to a whole new area of our state. ...

I still think of you and smile, remembering all the fun we had. Missing you Julie! ❤

I have been waiting for two months to decide what I wanted to say to remember my dear friend, Julie. Today I came across a letter that Julie wrote to me on the last day of school of our first year teaching second grade together. In it she expressed to me how grateful she was to have had such a happy year in which we "laughed every day". She attributed this to me, but let me just say that without Julie I wouldn't have been able to laugh by myself. After reading Julie's letter, I had a good cry...

Happy Birthday Julie!

Love always,
Anne, Rob, Sam, Sean and Brigid

To all of Julie's family and friends, what a tremendous loss. I am still hoping to drive into St. Agatha's for afternooon pick-up and to see her vibrant smile, hear her hilarious stories, and to get one of her giant hugs. I miss her so very much, as do my children. We are quite fortunate that our children were able to have Miss Callahan in both first and second grades. What a passionate and dedicated teacher, we were certainly blessed with the BEST.
Julie, until we meet again....... may...

To the Calalahan Family:
I just heard the news and I am so saddened to hear of Julie's passing. My sister had become good friends with Julie at UMASS and introduced me to her fun and vibrant friend from Milton. She was a joy to be with! We will all miss her and my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
