I am new to the UVa Health System and only got to meet Julie a few months ago. I just want you to know that everyone at the Medical Center felt Julie was very, very special. And I can also tell you that her spirit will live on in the hearts -- and actions -- of the people who worked with her. Even though her time here was so tragically short, she made a real difference.

To the family of Julie
I had the opportunity to work with Julie and to care for her. Both occasions was a pleasure. She was gutsy and spoke her mind and that's what I truly loved and will miss about her. For her family and friends please know that you guys was truly blessed to have had a real angel in your life and looking over you. God Bless you all.

No words can ever remove the pain of loss of a loved one, however my hope is that you find comfort that Julie suffers no more, she knows no more pain. Julie was always a breath of fresh air throughout everything she endured and I know that God has a special place for her at his side.
Psalm 116:15: "Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of his saints."
My deepest sympathy to your family and my prayers are with you to help you through this time.
