Julie, for me and my kids was “vovó Julinha”.
She was neighbor and friend with my father, Zoltan Kolya, when they were kids. I’ve heard from my dad several stories about their friendship. Since we moved to US we’ve been pen friends, writing letters to each other. I felt so loved receiving her letters. She will be missed, but we are comforted knowing she is with the Lord.

We are shocked indeed . We were the closest friends for years . Julie helped me raise our children . Took me shopping everywhere . Our friendship
Went beyond that as her family and ours were the closest to us .
I still have blankets she sewed for our first daughter 50 years ago . But we have photos and memories together that we still have and cherish .
