Not sure what to say?

Still missing you and your huge smile and distinct laugh, Julie.

John was my best friend through my first few years at Glenwood Elementary - my family lived on the street behind their home before we eventually moved. I have happy memories of his mom from those days, and felt fortunate to see her again when I got to East Kentwood High School. She was the same kind, friendly, and fun person that I remembered from years before. My deepest condolences on your loss.

Julie lived next door to me in Lakewood, so I knew her when we were really young. We hung out in high school and in later years we always saw Julie and her family until my dad died many years ago. Rita,Therese, and Loene, My sincere deepest sympathy to you all. Love, Pat Slaman

Such a lovely lady! Never failed to see a big smile when she was out and about, she will be sorely missed. Sorry very sorry about this tremendous loss for your family, we are thinking about you all.

I've kept this secret for decades: Julie The Attendance Lady knew we were cutting out of class early and going to the beach as Seniors in the spring of 1979! Nice to have friends (or a friend's mom) in high places! Now she's in the highest, best place of all - with her loving husband Bob Friberg in Heaven. My prayers to and for Bob, John, Cheryl, Karen, Rich, Jesse, and all the grand- and great-grand-kids - count yourselves fortunate to have spent time with such a remarkably solid,...

My deepest condolences to the Friberg and Williams families on the loss of a wonderful mother and person. I think she was the nicest administrator I ever met while attending EKHS. She always greeted me with a smile. I graduated with John and she was always a presence of joy and laughter. God Bless, Bruce Fields
