Julie A. Hawkins

 

HAWKINS, Julie Ann - Of Flint, age 47, died Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.

 

A Memorial Service will be held 3pm Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.

 

Cremation has taken place.

 

Contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society.

 

Visitation 2pm Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

 

Julie was born in Flint on June 17, 1969. Of the various jobs Julie had during her life, her favorite was the many years she worked at City of Hope Church. Julie loved spending time with her daughter, Tierra and her grandson, Mason, (who was the light of her life). She was excited for the upcoming birth of her granddaughter.

 

Surviving are daughter, Tierra Hawkins;

 

grandson, Mason Joseph and a granddaughter on the way, Allyanah Ann;

 

mother, Sharon Graham;

 

father Eric Hawkins;

 

sister, Debbie (Robbie) Pastrano;

 

and niece, Shannan;

 

also aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many special friends including Nina, Craig, Richard, Dominique and Mitchell.

 

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Elva and Bernard Brown, Pete Kelly, Ella and Rodney Hawkins, great uncles and great aunts, Uncle Leo and Uncle Bob and special friends, Cheryl and Raeann.

 

A special thanks to cousin Bob Cooper for his support at the hospital.
