Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Julie's death and I am deeply saddened. It is true what is said about us remembering how people make us feel. I remember Julie as being so warm, positive and helpful during the last years that I worked for Portland Public Schools. I remember her smile. I extend my condolences to the family. Blessings to you all.

Linda J. Harris,
Former Asst. Supt.
Portland Public Schools

I met Julie 28 years old when I first started working at PPS in the Word Processing Department. I was 20 years old and this was my first real job. Julie took me under her wing, in that motherly, loving, caring way she always had about herself. I was very sad when she decided she was ready for a new adventure and we wouldn't be working in the same office anymore. We kept in touch and had occasional lunches to catch up with each others' lives. Julie was loved by many and she will be greatly...

Julie was the center around which we all revolved. My heart connects with family and friends who knew her and loved her well. For the long since...

I was sad to hear of Julie's passing - she had such a wonderful spirit of calm and caring. As a former teacher at Wilson, she was a joy to be around. As an administrator with PPS, I was appreciative of her support when she worked at the district office. I'll remember her smile forever.

Julie was a big part of my heart and I will miss her deeply. She was a wonderful, caring sister and we are all privileged to have been a part of her extended family. Her wisdom and humor will always be with me.

My sympathy is with you for your loss. Julie was more than a secretary at Wilson. She was someone who you could talk to and feel her support and understanding. She was a joy to be around and the world is a little more empty without her. She is missed but she left memories are so sweet.

Sincerely,
LaVonne Morgan

What a beautiful tribute to a wonderful woman who raised an amazing daughter; my dear friend Jenny. My heart goes out to you and your family in this difficult time.

Ian and family,
My deepest condolences to each of you. Ms. Jules was just the "best" and the laughter we shared over the years will "ring in the heavens forever".
Most sincerely,
Nancy Sevier
