Dale, Rachael and Jacob, My prayers are with you. Julie was a special person. You don't find many people who had such a positive influence on those around her. She made many crazy shifts in ICU bearable. It was a gift to be able to call her a friend. I'll always remember our "birthday" lunches. She was PROUD of all of you and it was apparent she was willing to do almost anything for you. She was a treasure and will be missed. Deb Van Laan

Jules, a wise priest once told us that the best way to keep someone with us is to cherish their memory...do something she would have done. So in that tradition, we will smile at a stranger, bake a twinkie cake on nurses day, take back the pop cans for the hearts and flowers accounts, wear crazy contraband stockings on holidays and try to look after your family...we will always keep you in our hearts..safe journey Jules..we love ya'

So sorry to hear of Julie's passing. I've been a physician on staff at St. Mary's since 1995 and really can't imagine the ICU without her there. She was always pleasant and helpful and had a great sense of humor. G. Millers, MD

Julie and started at St Mary's around the same time. I ran into her about a year ago in Ada at music on the lawn and she looks just the same as 35 yrs ago. Will miss her smiling face. My condolences to her family.
