Not sure what to say?

Met Julie at Rose City Park grade school probably in the 3 grade. Still have all grade school class photos. Very nice girl. Graduated with her in 74' and Madison high in 78'

My Dear Julie came into my life when I sang with the Portland Opera years ago. Julie was assigned as my dresser. She was so quietly strong. I trusted her and she, me. I remember she used to wear such wonderful jewelry, one set that was her Mom's. I used to give her jewelry as a Thank you gift. Gracious, kind, helping, always there for me. It was so wonderful to sing here because I knew Julie would be there. Sweet, Sweet Julie, I will miss you so much.

Julie was a popular figure on the CB radio in the late 1970s and early '80s. She had a soft, sweet voice that would melt your heart. Her "Angel" handle fit her perfectly.
Her senior year at Madison is when I first heard that voice. After talking to her on and off for a few weeks I finally was able to meet her in person. She lived just 6 blocks from my house. The day we met was when we forged a wonderful friendship. I had graduated two years before from Madison. Her friends became my...

I became Julie's District Sales Manager for Avon Products shortly after Kathy Tomlin left. I agree wih everything Kathy said. Julie was soft spoken, professional, and was always extremely detailed in the job she did for me. I am so sad that she has passed away. She was too young, but I know she is a glowing angel in Heaven.

I met Julie when she was Wardrobe Mistress for us in "Tony n' Tina's Wedding." She was a sweetheart, always upbeat and accommodating. She was our backstage cheerleader. She will be missed.

I am really sad she left us to soon but we are lucky to have had the chance to meet her and know her

I met Julie in eighth grade and we remain close friends throughout high school and into our mid twenties. I remember we would walk to her house after school. I remember on one of those days, a group of us girls would dance to Bennie and the Jets, with Julie choreographing the dance moves. In our freshman year at Madison, on one of those many rainy days, where we were walking the mile or so home... we had no umbrella and our coats were light, so we were soaked and miserable as we walked...

As a fellow IATSE member in San Francisco and an Oregon resident I am sending my condolences to the family and friends of my union sister Julie KaKelday.
sincerely, Pam Local784
