Not sure what to say?

Julie was a wizard with a quiet smile, an exceptionally sharp mind, and an ability to see to the heart of complex issues. She did more to support the science and management of rivers in the Pacific than any other individual I can think of. And above all, she was a woman with integrity. She will be missed...

A wonderful and kind person. It was great working with you.

Julie was one of a kind. A gentle genius with a knack for getting things done. The Sandy River is a free flowing, wild river for all to enjoy thanks to Julie.

She made a real difference. I will miss her.

For several years (years ago), Julie and Peter rented a Manzanita beach vacation home from my family. We always enjoyed reading their guest book entries, which inevitably featured stories about games and fun together. Sometimes we know people only indirectly; from all I have learned about Julie, I wish I had been able to have time with her. I send my best to Peter and their daughters.

Thank you Julie for all the knowledge you shared and opportunities to learn from you.

Julie was a beautiful person. She was kind, smart, and always sought to find the positive side of life in every challenge. She laughed easily and often.

Julie was a strong visionary, exceptional leader, and set a high standard that we all wanted to meet or exceed. I am so fortunate to have been able to work with her. I deeply miss her insight and humor.

Julie is a legend. I worked with her for over 25 years in the Hydro Licensing Department. She was amazing. I will miss her terribly. My most sincere thoughts and hugs go out to her family.
