THOMASBORO - Julie Kay Laich, 62, was born Feb. 24, 1960, to Ray and Phyllis (Hinrichs) Mennenga, in Champaign. After a short battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at CarleFoundation Hospital, Urbana, on Sunday afternoon (Dec. 4, 2023).
