I only recently found out about her passing. She was my vice-principal at Chicopee Comprehensive High School. I also got to know her daughter well It was through her that I found out about her mother's passing. Mrs. Leonard and I always had a good rapport. I will miss her. Rest in peace, Mrs. Leonard!

Miss Sittard was my 6th grade teacher in 1965-66 in Fairview and had a significant impact on my life and many others. She was bright, fun, a bit irreverent. I adored her - even if she did send me to the principal's office a few times.

Catherine, we are so sorry to hear of Julie's passing. She was a vice principal at Comp when I was in high school. We crossed paths again when our children went to Bellamy and then when you entered Holyoke Catholic. She was a remarkable woman, who cared about every person she came in contact with and will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Julie, you inspired many of us in our quests to become teachers both through your involvement with Future Teachers and through your great example.You were my World History Teacher when I was a freshman at Chicopee Comp, You were our class advisor and advised two clubs I was in: Theater Workshop and Future Teachers.
