Julie Ann Gnewuch Lickteig

I met Julie at a Katie Uhlaender benefit in Breckenridge several years ago. We connected in so many ways and I will have fond memories of skiing with Julie and eating at the Bayou in Glenwood Springs. She was such an inspiration and so bubbly and she was so happy when we made some late morning tracks on fresh corduroy at Vail one spring. My tears are to celebrate her incredible life.

Julie Ann Lickteig was an amazing classmate of mine during grade school years at St. Joseph's in Cresco, Iowa. We were challenged there to do our best, and she obviously did her best for all of her life. I admired her. I admired her family. She was attractive and intelligent. Our families were interlaced, especially around the local Catholic Church. She was a near-perfect manifestation of God working in the world. Period, that's all I have to say.
