My son died when he was 22. I never thought my child would die before me.

I worked with Julie at NYAHSA for a short time until March of 1995, when she left for other employment. We shared a space at NYAHSA and she was just a joy. I can still see that big smile. She was very much a "people pleaser" and we would be pleasantly surprised by her treats she would bring in for the staff to share. They were delicious and always pakaged so beautifully. My prayer is that Julie is now at rest, knowing how much her family loved her.
