We're so sorry for your loss. Julie was a wonderful classmate at David Douglas. She always had a friendly smile as we passed in the hall. And I'm pretty sure she was at a coed touch football game we played one rainy Saturday afternoon in the field on the south side of Ventura Park School. Julie, we were classmates at David Douglas in Portland, often in the same classes and I enjoyed your quiet, spunky personality. I remember best the geography field trip our class took to "eastern" Oregon, now far west of where you settled and raised your family in Pendleton. We'd only crossed over Mt. Hood into the Bend area and viewed caves, lava, mountains and maybe a lake or river, and on the way home the yellow school buses stopped and most of us swam at the Kahneeta hot springs before...
