Julie Ann Moore, age 51 passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024, in Rich Valley, VA at her childhood home surrounded by her family.
She is proceeded in death by her father, Clarence Moore and uncle Dennis Moore. Julie lived in Rural Retreat, VA most of her life where she was accompanied by her two furry friends, Chick and Fat Boy. Julie had a deep love for crafts, such as making wreaths, painting, and home decorating. Like her father, she was passionate about westerns and the family farm. Her life will always be forever cherished, along with the countless loving memories shared with family and friends.
She leaves behind her mother Joyce Moore, of Rich Valley, VA; two children Madison Moore of Marion, VA, and Markas Moore of Rich Valley, VA; sister, DeDe Hagerman and husband Rodney of Damascus, VA; brother, Tim Moore and wife Crystal of Rich Valley, VA; very special granddaughter, Claire Owens of Marion, VA; two aunts that loved her very much, Lee Etta Buchanan and JoAnn Moore. The family would like to express a very special Thank You to Keith Nipper, Julie’s partner, for all the help and love he gave to Julie during her long, hard battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM, Monday, October 14, 2024, from the Bradley’s Funeral Home Chapel in Marion with Pastor Ronnie Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgedale UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00PM on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com.
