Julie started out as my coworker and became my very cherished friend. She was so, so witty and intelligent and, cheesy as it sounds, she taught me about life and also about myself. She had infinite amounts of love and patience for animals and we bonded over our shared love of fur babies (and for her, fur grandbabies).
