Julie Marie Scott 78 was called home to be with the Lord on September 5, 2025, in Harlingen, Texas. She was born on January 11, 1947, to Clarence Norby and Eldora Cartwright in Grafton, North Dakota.


Julie is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Scott; nephew, Joshua Alan Hansen; her parents, Clarence and Eldora Norby; sons-in-law, Jorge Garcia, and Jerry King.


Julie leaves behind her 4 daughters, Terisa Marie Garcia, Jennifer Jean Rivera, Barbara Jo Taylor (Tracy), Jamie Marie King; grandchildren, Crystal Ashley Jackson (Derick), Mandy Lynn Huff, Christopher Lee Cameron, Alyssa Renea Perryman, Isabella Christine Scott, Damien Michael King; great grandchildren, Joshua Lee Cameron, Amarianno Kash Rold, Madison Mishelle Jackson, Millionna  Venaeh Plybon, Legend Andretti Chavez, Raziel Ilius King, Dominic Derick Jackson, Siblings, David Norby ( Sheryl), Diane Hansen, Donny Norby, Lester Norby, Karen Rossi ( Steve), Barbie Hethail (Ahmed); numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.


 In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a donation to the National Cancer Society in memory of Julie Scott.

Rest in heaven grandma my memories of you through out my whole childhood will always stay with me! Come back to me as a beautiful butterfly and show me all your pretty colors!
