It seems like yesterday her bright eyes were peeking up from the bassinet in your living room on Capen Blvd. We are so sorry to have been out of town during this most difficult time. Words cannot express how truly saddened I was to hear of Julie's passing. Although I hadn't seen her in many years I still thought of her and the rest of your family often. My years spent with your family are some of my best childhood memories. I will miss Julie and will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Julie epitomized kindness, sharing, caring and love. I had the privilege of knowing Julie and teaching with her at PS #80. Every day with her was delightful. When I was going through a serious crisis in my life, she was there for me. She had her students send cards and letters and she personally brought meals to my home. I'm very saddened to hear of Ms Tobins passing. We had a recent conversation & she was excited about a new path in life she was taking. My children & I would go visit her @ Kirkland's as she was once my daughter's favorite teacher. We will be sure to keep your family in our prayers. She will be greatly missed.
