Read MoreJulien was one of those special people who always thought of others, whether it was playing with us kids (he had a special talent for "lifting" us up by the ears), or thinking of us at Christmas with a crisp $10 bill, or sending Mom her birthday box of See's candy. He had a real zest for life and his giving nature has certainly left it's mark on others.

"Uncle" Julien was part of our family for many, many years. He was truly one of a kind. I remember his little meals, his laundry chute on Masonic, his big Mercury, his golf addiction, and of course the See's candy and money for all the kids at Christmas. He won't be forgotten.

Julien was a wonderful man, I'll never forget the few days my son Trevor and I spent with him in 95 when my son Colin Julien was being born at Kaiser Hospital in the city, it was always such a joy to stay with him, He will be missed. He was truley a part of my family.
