Juliet Bobo

Juliet (Julie) Bobo Our beloved mother passed away peacefully on November 1st surrounded by her family. Julie was born in Alabama on September 20, 1926 to Amelia and Anthony Joseph. She and her three brothers and two sisters remained very close throughout their lives. Julie moved to California and while working at Mare Island Naval Shipyard met Elwood Bobo. They were married in 1945 and had two children. In 1960, Julie married Fred Jensen, former San Rafael City Councilmember. Julie worked at Red Robin Catering for over 25 years doing what she loved most preparing meals. Her other passions included sewing, gardening and ensuring her home was warm and welcoming to all. Julie's priorities in life were loving and caring for her family and friends. Her kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity touched and enriched many lives. She is survived by her children Raymond Bobo (Tracey) of San Rafael and Barbara Foehr (Steven) of Sacramento; grandchildren Kenrick and Alysa; great grandson Christopher Jr.; brother Elmo Powers of Los Angeles; sister Dora Rodelli of Temple City; sister-in-law Victoria Joseph of Rosemead; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held on November 16th, 10:30 a.m. at Keaton's Mortuary, 1022 E St. in San Rafael followed by a gathering of family and friends.
