Julio "Val" Valdenegro Jr.

The farm seems so quiet without Val's presence, his warmth and his smile. He was teaching me a little Spanish and always had a joke to tell. I've been at Valhalla Farms with my mare for almost 2 years and everywhere there is evidence of his work. He loved his flowers and was always so kind to all of us boarders. I was able to go visit him when he was so ill to reassure him, as we all did, that we would take care of Jill. I know he is still watching over Jill and the farm. Godspeed, man...

It was a pleasure seeing Val in my office. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say. I will miss him.
