Dear Bishop Family:
Your dad and mine were the best of friends for so many years! I enjoyed Julius Bishop's conversation on many of our family get-togethers. Daddy just couldn't have a birthday party without Mr. Bishop present! I know they are both in heaven tee-ing off right now!

Almost everything good about Athens today is a result of Mr. Bishop's visions and hard work. Ed and I were privileged to have known him.

Dear Family;
The McLeroy family from Charlotte will miss Julius much. We always looked forward to seeing Julius at the reunion each year. My dad will always cherish the memories of growing up with Julius. I'm sorry we couldn't get down there to see you all, but know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Julius was a leader- locally, regionally and at the state level.
