Not sure what to say?

We have known our beloved friend Dr. Julius Chapman since we were students at his beloved Alma Mater - Tuskegee Institute in Tuskegee, Alabama. I was Miss Omega, when Julius was a member on the campus of Tuskegee. He was also my supervisor when we worked in the Tuskegee Institute Summer Education Program (TISEP)> It was our job to move into underserved communities in southern Alabama, mingle with the young people, and inspire them to reach for higher heights. That summer, Julius' best friend...

I was a colleague of Julius in his early days at Towson and in the early days of my career. He was an unsung pioneer in educational diversity efforts and his role model inspired me to propose a similar position at Smith College when I left Towson. Students loved Julius because he cared for them and their success. God bless you Julius, and I am pleased to learn you were my father's frat brother. My condolences to the family and the former students who will miss him.

I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the Chapman family for their loss. God´s words give us hope moving forward. 1 Corinthians 15:26.

To the family of Dr Julius Chapman: Julius took great care of me, all of us at Towson. He genuinely loved all of us. I forever thank him for mentoring me during my time at Towson. Although I found myself in an administrator's office for several missteps as a first generation college student; Julius was always there 'to interpret and bail me out' of any situation I encountered. Love and Peace, Dr. Jeniece Weddington

Mentor and friend not certain I would have completed my time at Towson without your inspiration and support. Rest in Power, my Brother.
