Not sure what to say?

Tezalee & Family,
It is always somewhat of a shock to hear of someone's passing. We did not know JW but he was part of the larger Burkett Family. Our condolances to each and all of you.

Bill,
So sorry about your Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during these difficult days. May God comfort all of you during this time.

Dear Mom Tez, Bill and Sharlotte,

It was sad news for me to learn that JW's funeral was last Friday. I was out of town and apologize for not making it back. You all know my feelings for Mr. Crump (and Mrs.). I always called him my "second Dad". While working at Kay's he mentored me and truly guided me through some bumpy times. Dear Tezalee, Sharlot, Bill,

I have such fond memories of J.W. during the years that he worked with my grandmother in her store on the parish line. He'd load bags of feed, bags of groceries, and whatever grandkids were around onto the back of Granny's pick-up,...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

So very sorry to learn about the passing of Mr. Crump. I well remember how pleasant and helpful he was whenever I patronized The Shoe Trunk, and he always made it an enjoyable experience.

MR. J.W. WAS A FINE CHRISTIAN MAN AND A TRUE FRIEND. GOD BLESS THE FAMILY. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AT THIS TIME. FOR COMFORT READ FIRST THESSALONIANS 4: 13-18

I would come into Shoe trunk with my mom, and sing that, it always put a smile on his face.

What a fine man, I first met him 50 years ago, and he kept my mom is SAS shoes, that was all she would wear.

My prayers and sympathies to your family. Mr. Crump was one in a milliion... those that live in our memory never really...
