I dated Jay while in high school in Huntington. We went to different schools but met at Huntington High basketball games which he regularily attended. We lost touch when we both went of to college in different states. Coincidentally I ended up moving to Pennsylvania near Villanova in 1964. I was saddened to come across Jay's obit and extend my condolences to his family.

Sadly, I just stumbled upon Jay's memorial. He was a great teacher with some of the sharpest, smartest wit of any teacher at Jesuit. And that's saying a lot compared to the many teaching minds that put up with us crazy high school boys. There are many of us who will always remember him.
