Dr.Fernandez did surgery on my back in 2009 after several doctors told me there was nothing they could do for me. I was in constant pain when I had an appointment with him. He found what was causing my pain,. There were several things wrong. He explained to me what all he would have to do and I agreed for him to do the surgery. I am so sorry to hear of Doctor Julius Fernandez passing I only seen him once and it was several years ago and I had a herniated disc in the thoracic area which would mean I would have to have ribs removed to fix this disc and he suggested that I hold off on any surgery until I possibly could not stand it anymore and that is exactly what I am doing... I pray God will heal his grieving family

Post surgery
You were awesome. You helped fix me. Not one surgery but two. Another surgeon sent me your way when he couldn't do it...I just learned today of your passing and it broke my heart. I'm doing much better but still have a way to go. I will honor you by letting your work remain in my back exactly the way you left it. No matter what, no more surgeries, spinal stimulators or nerve blocks for me. Thank you. I will miss you. Rest in Heaven.

I only found out today of his passing, but he was the greatest Spine Surgeon you could have known. I remember a talk we had in 2006 when he found out I was a Minister and Prophet, and a woman that gave God a chance to heal first, I said to him you no God gave you the gift and talent to heal as a great Physician, he replied so you have faith in me? Dr. Fernandez was the most honorable physician I have ever met. He had such a talent to heal and the caring compassion you just don't see today. He did three spinal surgeries on me and I was under his care for years, so I considered him a friend. He will be missed dearly. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. This city is a dimmer place without his light to shine on it.
