Julius Fetting, age 86, of Hot Springs, died Saturday, May 21, 2005.
Mr. Fetting was born March 10, 1919, to Robert and Maria Borchert Fetting. He was married to Martha Kassulat on December 26, 1943. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Waltraud Lampe; one grandson, Torsten Lampe; and three brothers, Otto, Johann and Robert Fetting.
He was the retired owner of Fetting Construction, served in the German Army during World War II, and was a member of First Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Kassulat Fetting of Hot Springs; a son and daughter-in-law, John H. and Carol Fetting of Willow Springs, IL; three daughters and sons-in-law, Eva and Herman Wenzel of Mountain Home, Lydia and Jorge Oller of Redondo Beach, CA, and Renee and Bud Healey of Bradenton, FL; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at the First Lutheran Church with Pastor Jon Beyer officiciating.
Interment will be in Memorial Gardens under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
The Pallbearers will be Bud Healey, Jorge Oller, Herman Wenzel, Adam Wenzel, Eric Wenzel and Mark Fetting.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Kathy and Don Sanders, Lorene and Odis Burroughs, and Dr. Barney Bond.
In Lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Hospice Home Care Inc., 319 Shawnee, Hot Springs, AR 71901 or to the First Lutheran Church, 105 Village Road, Hot Springs, AR 71913.
