Read MoreI have known Dr Freund as well as his wife Geraldine from the 1940's. My parents, Dr. and Mrs. Benj. Boshes, were close friends and professional colleagues. Both Julius and Gerry were extraordinary people.
My wife and I send our condolences to the family. The Freunds will be missed in Chicao.

I worked with Dr. Freund on a writing project some 30 years ago. I found him to be not only very knowledgeable but also kind and gentlemanly. He was a pleasure to work with. I see he led a very long, full life.
