Not sure what to say?

Dear Jim, Dick, Mike, Jeri, Betty, Grace:
Aunt Dee and Uncle Julius always made me feel so welcome and comfortable, truly like I was a family member. I loved going to the farm, it reminded me of my father's family farm. Nothing better than people who work the land for a living - hard working and hard playing - that's what it's all about ! I loved Uncle Julius' gruffness and cussin' and Aunt Dee's laugh and hugs. You could tell they were a good match and loved each other very much. Now they...

To Jeri, Jim, Dick, Mike, Betty & Grace - I loved both your parents very much. There will never be anyone as thoughtful as they were. Uncle Julius was a diamond in the rough, and Aunt Dee was part of the
MAS. They were always there to step up to the plate when someone needed help. I'm sure the Lord was
at the pearly gates with arms extended wide to welcome your Dad.
He'll be greatly missed.

I always liked Uncle Julius. When I was young, I loved to stay on the farm in the summer. I remember baling hay and helping Aunt Dee pick strawberries. Once I hilled potatoes. That was hard work. When we were very young, Aunt Dee and Uncle Julius had chickens. I remember trying to gather the eggs. I was half afraid to poke the hens to get them off the eggs. I was really impressed when I witnessed Uncle Julius applying CPR to one of Dick's pigs bringing it back to life. Uncle Julius...

Thanks, Julius, for always being so good to my sister Delores and to me and my family. I'm going to miss our Friday visits.

When I was little, I was a bit afraid of Uncle Julius because he seemed so gruff and I was shy. When Aunt Dee was sick, I was able to witness this wonderful, gentle man whose love for his wife was very, very obvious. I have many memories of Uncle Julius and my Dad in our kitchen laughing and talking for hours. When my Dad was sick, he visited often. Nobody could get my Dad to do his simple exercises, but I remember when Uncle Julius was there, he would say "Hey Pete, lift up them arms,...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
