Julius HOBBS

I worked with Julius at TECO for many years, and saw his energy and enthusiasm spearhead so many efforts that made our community a better place. He was authentic in a world where that is rare, and he was a role model for courage in facing personal tragedy. My condolences to Shirley and to Julius' family and many friends, but with heart-felt gratitude for his well-lived life.

Julius was one of the most dedicated and productive men I've ever met. I was so honored to work for him for 5 years at TECO. His quiet presence said it all. I'm sorry I cannot attend the service on Thursday, but he's forever in my heart and the family in my prayers.

We are so sorry to hear that we have lost such a wonderful person as Julius. He was a joy to work with and a pleasure to know. He will be missed.

My heart is broken to hear this news. Julius was a wonderful person. He was one of my managers early in my career and he treated me like his daughter always looking after my best interest. I will never forget the impact he had on Me and on my career at TECO.
