Not sure what to say?

Real sorry to hear about Dr. Howell. I was a scared little boy that had 3rd degree burns to my right leg back in 1964. I was in the hospital for about a year. I will never forget this man, he saved my life. I was the poster boy in 1965 for the Mother´s Day Offering.

I had the opportunity to work for Dr. Howell for 1 year. It was during that time that I decided to enroll in nursing school. The medical community has indeed lost a wonderful physician. My prayers go out to the family.

Mrs. Howell and family,

My deepest condolences to you all on the passing of Mr. Howell. We are distant cousins and I am saddened to learn of his passing and that I had not been able to to meet him personally.

Sincerely,

To the Howell Family - I am so sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathies go out to each of you. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Big Anne, Little Anne, Karen, and Robin: All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Uncle Jule was a remarkable man and he set such an impeccable example of how to live. His giving ways were contagious. Love to all-cousin Debbie

I was one of the six kids critically burned in the Flat Rock Elementary School fire in Surry County on Feb 22, 1957. Dr Howell became not only our doctor, but our friend and our confidante.

Robin, I was so sorry to learn of the death of your father. Although I did not know your father, I learned from reading his obituary what a truly unique individual he was, and I know he must have touched many lives and made a difference for many people. Please give my condolences to your family as well. Barbara Smith (WCSR-Charlotte)

To the family of Dr. Howell, I am so sorry for your loss. Dr. Howell and his brother Charles touched my life as a young teenager in the 70's and because of their wonderful bedside manner and caring ways, I have always remembered them. May God comfort you in your time of need.
