Missing you still Your niece, Betty

You will always be remembered Uncle Julius. I can remember the many surprise visits and our long conversations. Thinking of you. love, Betty

For My Father;
For a Life Well Lived.
I pray every day, that I have just a small percent of the STRENGTH and FAITH that you had shown during your physical expression. You have walked with faith on many occasions and it takes a person with much strength to do all of the things that you had done.
You have also shown boundless LOVE in your own special way. I can remember you taking me shopping to get shoes. They had to be of good quality, in other words, leather. When I...

Hi Grandpa,
you have had such a beautiful presence in my life, and I will always recall the hot summers we spent with you in Arizona. Those memories mark a lot of good times in my childhood. I thank you for raising my beautifully strong mother and I know that have lived wonderful life, and I will continue to use all the health remedies you taught me so I can enjoy longevity as well.
Much Love, Pris

Hi Grandpa:):) It has been an HONOR & PRIVELEDGE to be a Mc Clendon and part of the best family in the WORLD!!You have instilled in me INTEGRITY,to stand up for justice, peace and to don't take no mess from ANYONE! I have raised all my kids up with your family values and traditions and honestly will miss your talks and priceless times we have shared together.Your dream of a black president came true and everything you ever taught me or my family,(KIDS), will be forever embedded in my heart....

My deepest admiration for a man and father that impressed me with wisdom and a talent for getting things done. Though, unschooled, was able to fact from fiction when it came to religion and black history.

Becoming a friend of Elijah Muhammad, last messenger of Allah and voice for black pride, sent me on my way for love of self and an engineering career.
I will greatly miss one of the most powerful figures in my life

Grandpa, you are gone but not forgotten. I thank God for being the granddaughter of a man who has lived and SURVIVED slavery, segregation, and prejudices!! You have taught us to strive for the best and, with the help of the Lord, I will instill that in my children also. I pray that I live a long life as you did.

Grandad,
I shall never forget you and all the good times we've shared together. Every couple years, I always looked forward to seeing you at the family reunions. I know you will yet be there with us in spirit. Yes, you are gone, but you shall never be forgotten. I love you dearly.

A pleasant goodnite Uncle Julius. Please say hello to Aunt Dorothy and my dad for me. Thanks for bringing this family so much closer. We will miss you.
