Dear Aunt Anne: The first word that enters my mind when I think of Uncle Julie is GENEROUS. And you know more than anyone just how generous he really was. He was bridge between generations of the family and tried to take care of all of us. He did a good job at that and we all loved him dearly. Murray Segal

Dear Ann, I remember Dr. Segal, like many, many others as my dentist, but also knew both of you from my years working at Pautipaug as office manager. You were a wonderful couple, and I know what a generous and good person your husband was. May you find comfort in how much everyone thought of him.

Our condolences go out to the entire Segal family. Dr. Segal will be missed by all who were privileged to have known him.

So sorry for your loss. Your husband was the first dentist I ever went to. I also remember how nice he was to me at Pautipaug when I went in to talk to my dad. He always had a cheery hello and a smile on his face. Such a nice person. Mrs. Segal, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

As a former dental patient of Dr. Julius Segal, my childhood recollections of him are significantly important to me. He was so much more than a dentist. He was a cheerleader and supportive force in my life and in the lives of his patients. While he was a true professional in his field, he made getting your teeth fixed a worthwhile trip because of his encouraging enthusiasm about the patient as a whole person.
I sincerely extend my heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.
