Not sure what to say?

Uncle Gene and family, We are saddened to hear of Aunt June's passing. Alzheimers is a devastating disease, have peace that she is now with our Savior. We have many memories of what a wonderful person she was with our annual visits to Kimberley when we were kids. Many prayers, hugs and thoughts sent your way, Jeannie (VanHimbergen) Vaccari, Dick & Peg and Families

Our deepest sympathies to the entire Appleton family in the loss of June. June and I were good friends when we lived in Appleton. She was my first contact in Toastmistress Club when we moved to the Appleton area in 1976. I worked with her at Associated Builders and Contractors and June and Gene were a most fun couple in our pinochle club. June, Cleo Rust and I went out on the town to plays, out to eat and other fun events. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out. I know you will miss her...

Gene and family, my deepest sympathy to your family..it's been many many years since I have seen your wife June, but I have so many fond memories of my mother, Betty, and the card club gang, I also have many photos of Mom's wedding to Jack, with June and Gene in the wedding party..Mom had an "engagement" book with loads of pics of the foursome...what a great looking bunch!!! May your memories give you comfort through this time, God bless, Julie (Weyenberg) Jacobson

I to remember many a late nights playing sheapshead while I was trying to sleep on school nights! Good memories! My deepest sympathy to all. P.J. Weyenberg Algoma WI.

Uncle Gene and family,
You have our deepest sympathy for your loss. Anyone with true faith knows that she is so much better off in heaven with our Savior. I am sorry that I will not be there at the church for I arrived in Florida last sat.
May God bless all of you.

Pete and the rest of the Appleton family..We are very sorry for your loss. You all will be in our thoughts and prayers at the tough time. Lisa, Kamryn and Kayleigh Sims

Gene and the Appleton family you have our condolences on the loss of June. She and my mom Betty were best friends and I think that is how June and Gene met. I still have a lot of pictures from their "courting days" of June, Gene, Betty, and Jack at Sunset Park and the Quarry on BB near Appleton. She was also a regular in the gals sheepshead game and will be playing a hand with Betty, Ruthie, Mary Ann, Gert and the rest. You are in our prayers. Keep the Faith. We are out in Az so cannot make...

While we never met Mrs. Appleton, we have become good friends of Pete and his wife Anne and family. I expect Pete's friendly personality, devotation to his family, and passion for those things he believes in are traits he learned from his mother and father. Our sympathy to the entire Appleton family on the passing of your mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. None of us will ever experience the challenges of raising 10 children and making it work. Kudos to your mom!

To Uncle Gene and the Appleton Family
Aunt June was my favorite! She was a special lady with the most contagious smile and what a laugh. So I hope you will take great comfort knowing that she is now in God's loving arms and her suffering is no more. She was a gift to us all.
