June DeLuca

I have such wonderful childhood memories of riding horses at my family farm with June. She was always so sweet and gentle with the horses. Life was not kind to her with the death of her Vietnam war hero father and the death of her mother when she was still in grade school. And in her later years, she suffered the death of her beloved son Guiseppe. She handled all the tragedies of her life with such remarkable grace and quiet dignity. I will also cherish the good times we had so long ago....

We pretty much grew up together. Many good memories from those days. Your family has always held a special place in my heart. In many ways you and your family were dealt a tough hand by life but you folks always made the best of it. You and your family have always been among my closest friends. RIP June.

My sincere condolences for your loss. June was a childhood friend growing up in the same neighborhood of only 2 streets in Fayetteville, NC. She was a wonderful person who persevered through family tragedy with grace.
