Dawn, I am jackie Boles Mcclure, daughter of Transou Boles. He and June were first cousins. His father was Carl, one of the 14. My brother, Tom Boles, and I have so enjoyed reminiscing about growing up in Jonesville and doing so many of the same "misadventures" that June did. She may have been the last of that era. God be with you and comfort you and the family as you mourn your remarkable "mimi".

Caring for you was such an easy task because you radiated love and said "thank you" as many times as a you were assisted with a little task. You will be surely missed. You asked after my family on almost every visit. I called you "Miss America" because your beauty did not fade even in your old age. My prayers are with you, Dawn, Gray, Kenan, Annie, Curly and little Everett.

Since childhood, I have admired June. She was one of the kindest, most gentle, thoughtful, beautiful souls one could ever hope to know.
I spent many fun- filled Sunday afternoons at her house with her sweet daughter, Dawn, my dear friend. Being at their home was something I looked forward to and will always remember with much fondness.
