June Muschalik Jaeger March 31, 1928 - June 25, 2021
June Jaeger, 93, died peacefully at her home in Falls Church, VA. She grew up in her beloved Bayonne, NJ with her parents, Paul Otto and Dorothy Belford Muschalik and her younger siblings, Dan and Linda, with extended family nearby. In 1950, she married Alfred L. "Buddy" Jaeger (d.1979) and they remained in Bayonne until relocating to Falls Church in 1960. June is survived by her sister, Linda Cecchini, Toms River, NJ; brother-in-law, Harry (Shirley) Jaeger, Richmond, VA; sister-in-law Therese Muschalik, Houston, TX; loving daughters Diane (Andrew) Pittman, Susan (John) Marshall, Cathy Daum, and Ellen (Daniel) Feer. She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Jody and James Phillips; and her son, Paul (Grace) Jaeger. 13 grandchildren survive and will remember dear "G'ma June", seven great grandchildren will miss their "GiGi", as will Aunt June's numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call at Murphy Funeral Home, 1102 W. Broad St., Falls Church, VA 22046, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday and Monday, July 11 and 12, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at www.navymemorial.org . A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 630 E St., SW, Washington DC, 20024, at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2021. Interment will follow at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042.
