Crofts-Crow Funeral Home - Blanco Obituary

Minnie “June” Jennings of Blanco, TX passed from this life into God's hands on March 5, 2024, with her family at her side.

June was born June 4, 1936, in Wimberley, TX to Hubert and Edna Ann (Slate) Walker. She was raised in Wimberley and attended San Marcos Elementary and High Schools. She married the love of her life Ralph “Freeman” Jennings December 16, 1953, and moved to Sattler, Texas where they started their family.

June loved all people and never met a stranger; she opened her home and heart to everyone and you were welcome to stay for a meal or as long as you needed a place to stay. She loved bowling, dominoes, cards and anything that was a challenge, she usually ended up winning too! June also loved to be outside weather in the garden, fishing or driving the backroads looking for mustang grapes to pick or a Christmas tree for the coming year. She truly loved life and we will miss her so.

June was reunited with her parents, beloved husband Freeman, and dear great granddaughter, Olivia Marie Armstrong.

June is survived by her three children, son Cody Jenning and wife Kathy; two daughters, Rafaye Armstrong, and Senisa Beauchamp and husband Thomas, Jr; her three siblings, Ollie “Fay” Simon and husband Harry, William Ray “Pete” Walker and wife Maria, and Freda Ann “Tootsie” Hall and husband James, III; grandchildren, Dalton Cody Jennings (Lauren), Justin Lynn Schlameus (Julia) Sarra Pope (Luke), Jessica Armstrong, Thomas Harrison Beauchamp, III (Gabbe), Hayden Dan Beauchamp (Megan), and Katy Ann Munden (Dan). She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and many other loving relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Friday, March 8, 2024, at Crofts - Crow Funeral Home in Blanco.

Funeral services honoring June will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 703 Main St., Blanco, TX 78606.

June will be laid to rest in the Historic Blanco Cemetery next to her late husband Freeman Jennings.

Not sure what to say?

Oh my June I will miss you so much. You were and always will be one of my most favorite people. You were definitely one of a kind with the biggest heart I have ever seen. Not to mention the best cook ever, and such a personality. I will treasure so many wonderful memories. Especially those of the famous camping trips. such as coloring your hair in the blanco river, maybe I should leave out the part about Kay shaving your legs, but I didn’t. I have so many more. I know you are having the most...

June always had a smile on her face and love in her heart! A mother’s love is priceless!!!! She will be missed!!

With sincere sympathy to the family of June Jennings. Peace is in her heart.

June's family I am so sorry for your loss, I am sending hugs and prayers to you all. She was such a wonderful person to be around with her quick wit and infectious joy. I am going to miss all the fun she brought to the Pajama Mama's and Bunco Babes.
