Not sure what to say?

My mother was a neighbor to June in her final days--across the hall at Maryville Nursing Home. When I got mom up to walk up and down the hall for exercise, we would say hello to June when she was awake. Although we did not know her before, she was very kind and polite, in her soft way. I had the opportunity to respond to her request for help a few times. Even in her frailty, she had a most gentle and sweet demeanor. We were honored to meet her before she went home to Heaven. Coach, my parents sent me the link to your memory of your mother and I'm glad they did. What a wonderful testimony she had! I can't think of anything better to be said on my own passing than to be called a person of prayer. Praise the Lord for her life and for how God continues to work even after she has left your presence! May God bless you as one woman leaves your life and another enters!

First I have to say, I love U Mom and I miss U so much but I am also happy U are with DAD!!! Thank-U Danny for such a wonderful tribute to MOM!!She is my hero!! We have the best parents ever

Just read about your mother. The writing in the Oregonian was a lovely tribute to a gracious person. I will remember your family and in particular have a Mass said in thanksgiving for your mother. take care, Sister JoJean

Reading the testimony of your mother and her relationship with the Lord brought me to tears this morning. I am also a mother. It is a struggle to pray faithfully. But I am reminded in your writing how precious to the Lord are the prayers of His children. I will try to continue faithfully to present requests to Him. And I pray my children will follow in these footsteps, too. I can't wait to meet your mom when it is my turn to go to the arms of our Savior.
