I know of June only through my relatively brief friendship with Howard, and so I am constrained to imagine what she must have been like. Knowing Howard is a window to June. If she picked Howard, then she was a loving, deeply Christian woman who saw the image of God in all her fellow human beings. We were saddened to hear of June´s passing. We always enjoyed seeing her when she would come to Atlanta. She always wanted to see my mother who, at the time, was living in an assisted living home. She would have my mother laughing in hysterics at her funny stories from the past. We all loved her.
