June Leanne Mecham

She was a great mother. I will never forget her. I love her so much and I will really miss her. She inspired and encouraged others. She was a wonderful author of her own book, too. May she be never forgotten.

I am shocked and saddened by the news of Dr. Mecham's death. She was an amazing teacher who greatly inspired my own study of medieval and women's history. She had such a sweet and sensitive nature, and was truly one of my favorite professors while in college. She will truly be missed, my condolences to her family and loved ones.

We'll always remember June's visits with us in Germany and we'll miss her greatly.

I was fortunate in knowing June at the University of Kansas. She was a lovely person, so sweet and so funny. My condolences to her family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Junes family. We will miss her smile.

Dr. Mecham will forever be remembered in the hearts of her students as a wonderful teacher and mentor. She was one of the best teachers I've ever been privileged to learn from. We miss you!

June has been a wonderful friend, a gifted and adored teacher, and a rising star among scholars of medieval history. Her colleagues in the history department will miss her beyond anything words can express.
