June Marie Goldsum Miller passed away on January 7, 2012 in Deer Park, TX at the age of 85. She was born on November 18, 1926 in Nursery, TX to Ed and Claudine Goldsum. June was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed traveling by RV across the United States with her husband. June especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a strong willed lady, but gentle and kind. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
June is preceded in death by her parents; and daughter-in-law, Janet Miller. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gene Miller; son, Randy Miller; daughter Becky Nail and her husband Steve; 2 grandsons, Kyle Nail, Kody Nail and his wife Karla; 4 great grandchildren, Christian Nail, Brynlee Nail, Jimmy McClintock, and Jaylynn Nail.
A memorial service celebrating the life of June will be held on Monday, January 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in The Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. In lieu of usual remembrances donations in memory of June may be made to Hospice Compassus 4949 Fairmont Pkwy, Ste. 300 Pasadena, TX 77505.

Mr. Miller and Becky,my heart just sank when i heard the news about June. I loved her so. She was such a wonderful lady with lots of spirit and spunk...I enjoyed playing Bunco with her and making her laugh..June will be greatly missed...My condolences to you and the rest of the family.
