June Morton

I worked with June from 5/2009-spring 2012. June was my favorite part of the job! She was welcoming, kind, a great teacher, and most importantly my work friend. We had desks beside each other, and I loved ever minute of it. I´m saddened to learn she passed away, but June was my first friend when I moved to Lawrence. She taught me local history, and was a joy to be around. To June´s family, please know we loved her at LPRD!

Angie and Cindy I am so sorry for the loss of your mother, I know how you are both hurting but just know you have family and friends here for you both and your wonderful husbands Reese and Tom and also the grandkids Jessica Christopher and Katelan. Love all of you.
