June N. Nordling

nee Pazdernik Age 96 of Roseville Died Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Rosewood Estates in Roseville. June N. Nordling was born June 5, 1915 in Rhinelander, WI, the eldest daughter of Edward and Anna Pazdernik. She graduated from Rhinelander HS in 1933. After teachers' college in Rhinelander she taught 3rd and 4th grades and music in Monico, WI for 5 years. On November 15, 1942 she married Franklin Joseph Nordling in Rhinelander. Following their marriage they lived a short time in Chicago, IL before moving to Hallock, MN. Over the years her interest in teaching and promoting education transferred from the classroom to her children and grandchildren. Franklin and June retired to Fridley, MN to be closer to their children. For the last twelve years June has made her home at Rosewood Estates, Roseville, MN. Survivors include children, Neal (Elizabeth), Glenn (Betty), Lois Ann (James) Helgeson and Gale (Cathleen); 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth (Cecelia) of Rhinelander, WI, Donald Pazdernik of King, WI; and sister, Ruth Shalaida of Hillside, NJ. June was preceded in death by her parents; Franklin, her husband of 42 years; and sister, Alice. Funeral service 11AM on Friday, December 23 (visitation begins at 10AM) at HOLCOMB-HENRY-BOOM-PURCELL, 515 Hwy 96 W at Mackubin, Shoreview. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials preferred to The Breast Center at the University of MN Medical Center.
