JUNE O'NEILL

I taught with June in Sherborn and she was a wonderful friend and mentor. She loved teaching and was so loved by her first graders and families. She was a giver and her daughters were her everything. I´m grateful that I was her friend. My deepest condolences to her family. She will be so missed.

It is because of June I am teaching at Pine Hill in Sherborn. A memorable conversation my son started with June while purchasing our Christmas tree at Tilly's just prior to a snowstorm. I was unemployed and she told me about an opening at the school. Next thing I knew, I had a variety of roles in the building including being her educational assistant and subbing for her class while she went on a cruise just prior to her retirement. Please accept my sympathies. June and I went to Saint Paul School together, obviously years ago. Time has a way and we lost touch with each other, though I still remember June with fondness. I'm certain that her kindness and sweet disposition will live on in her daughters. Ada Palladino Elmer

MegO, Allison (and family), I am so sorry for your loss! I have so many fond memories of your mom growing up. It was always great to catch up with her at Tilly´s over the years too. She was always so happy to keep me posted about her girls too. She was such a wonderful woman. She had so much information for me as I started in my own teaching career. She will be missed. I only knew June from Tilly's, and she was always a gracious, generous woman. My heart goes out to her family. She will be missed.
